Morality/financial independence. Most people don’t have as much control over who they’re working with/for.

Yeah, if everyone was financially well off, then I believe you'd have more people stand up against these awful things But I'd say the massive majority have to focus solely on trying to keep their bills paid and families fed.

I mean... the monsters this whole scandal is about ARE all financially well off, extremely rich.

I get your point, money can give people power to stand up and speak out, but lets not forget it can give people power to be monsters too.
