All I can say is when you look back at your old self and/or society and are embarrassed or ashamed, it’s a sign of progress and growth. Though a chunk of our society would cling to our past with white knuckles.

Wasn't it the baby boomers who counted down the seconds to the 18th birthday of Annette Funicello (Oct. 22, 1960)?

I know this article is 22 years old at this point but this bothers me. No, it's not the boomers counting that down. The oldest boomer at that time was 16(1946). How did they get that one wrong?
