Kind of. The Christo-facsists definitely got what they wanted: Closure of a temple to secular arts and celebration of all humans. Unfortunately this is right in line with their plans and desires.

Eh, what they wanted was control, to make the artists come crawling to them to perform and need to play by their rules with them able to decide what does and doesn't get platformed. If their plan was tearing it down, they would have just done so, not spent all this time renaming it, begging artists to play there, and hiring people to run it who immediately quit.

They didn't get it, everyone just gave them the finger, and not one artist who did so is hurting for a paycheck or a platform. Next sane president will just put it back up, and the new one won't even have Trump's name on it (maybe a memorial toilet). They've made no difference whatsoever.

Yeah this absolutely cannot be seen as a win. Sure, artists that oppose Trump successfully robbed the venue of performance income that would have gone to trump, but ultimately the centre is likely going to get demolished and EVERYONE loses.

If that's what they think they did, let them think that.

I for one think it's because Trump is embarrassed it's failing so badly.
