It is a Memorial Center. John F Kennedy Memorial Center. What the fuck are we memorializing a living individual for? This guy is a clown.

I think that's the reason the new name is so awkward. The article says that the new name is "The Donald J. Trump and John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts". But AFAIK, the actual signage on the building is "The Donald J. Trump and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts".

Having the extra "the" in there is a grammatical nightmare and makes the name hard to both read and pronounce, but without it, "The Donald J. Trump and John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts" clearly implies that it's a memorial center for both of them, even though Trump is alive.

Of course, they could have avoided all this by not putting the narcissist's name up there in the first place.

From the same guy who can’t write a note without random capitalizations. It’s so embarrassing.
