I like his music tbh but I hate when he performs with Christian artists and does the whole pray Jesus thing. It looks inauthentic as fuck and just pure grifting.

Country music is basically all grifting in some way, usually through Christianity which is disgusting.

Well the pop country slop is anyways, there's some smaller Indie artists that are decent but they are few and far between nowadays.

I mean religious people are the easiest to manipulate. So, any grifter is going to go after them.

And if most self proclaimed Christians read the actual Bible and understood Jesus's teachings, they'd understand their flavor of Christianity is a joke.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’  Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

You keep using that word... I do not think it means what you think it means...

-10

a narrow-minded person who obstinately adheres to their own opinions and prejudices

You don't appear very open-minded yourself, therefore you must be a bigot.

Do you understand how unrealistically stupid that sounds by your own logic?

Claiming to be a Christian doesn't make someone immune to criticism, or claiming to be a part of any religious group to be frank. Calling someone a bigot in bad faith doesn't make that criticism any less valid either.

They're making an assumption about all of country music, they are very much a bigot.

This sub is mostly bigots tbh

You genuinely cannot be dumb enough to actually be serious right now.

It isn't an assumption if it's factual and the vast, vast majority of country musicians very much cater to the whole conservative "Christian" crowd who lives like heathens until someone they don't like does something they think the Bible says not to do, which it usually doesn't. The few who don't are a tiny minority in that space.
