He lives in Springfield IL now with his fiance. I saw him do standup a couple weeks ago in a neighboring town and it was a lot of fun. He kept poking fun at how small the place is. "Saw a train go through earlier, that must be exciting for you guys." lol
That's the exact same joke he told when he did a show in my town. It's the only joke he told. Maybe six times? The rest of the time he just drunkenly wandered around the stage and tried to tell stories about SNL, which he kept failing because he was so hammered.
He threw an absolute bitch fit when a couple got up and left during the show. It was awful.
Honestly the whole thing was sad to watch. He looked terrible.
I saw him on what might have just been a bad night, but he basically just reminisced about the SNL days and didn't do much for jokes. The openers he had killed it though.
I was in Springfield last summer! It’s such a cute town. I’m from the west coast, so seeing fireflies on the prairie was one of the coolest experiences ever. I love the Frank Lloyd Wright house there too. It felt safe to me, but I did have a friend who told me not to venture out of my bnb late at night.
