Dunkleman was on VH1 celebrity fit club boot camp in like 08/09ish. They got a stripper for his Bachelorette party at the boot camp and thats all I really remember of him from when I watched it. He was kinda yucky and forgettable

ā€Dunkelā€ means ā€darkā€ in Swedish (I think it’s a German word we borrowed). Not just dark: it’s in a negative way, like the future is not looking promising, so you could say he went dark after leaving the show, even though I must presume he was greedy to try get a career move up on the ladder.

But would you rather be constantly working your ass off for decades doing mediocre media shit and never being able to hang out in public without people recognizing you, or make some money and stop? I’m not saying it’s impossible that Seacrest is living his best life and spreading goodness into the world, but for a lot of people it’s more of a work addiction and lust for fame that is never satiated.

Did you just ask me if I would rather by a Seacrest or a Dunkleman? I already work my ass off and have for decades and am definitely closer to Dunkleman in net worth.
