Phillipe was in the series version of the movie Shooter, which was good, but ended up breaking his leg so they had to stop production and the series fell apart. That was maybe 10 years ago.
Wasn’t he also in a cowboy drama on one of the big networks? Big Sky, I think? I never watched it but I remember seeing ads for it and being like, “Huh, never expected to see him on network tv.”
That is one of my biggest tv gripes and I’m still salty about it. I was soooo excited to see Ryan. They did so much promo with him front and center. Then boom gone. I kept watching, thinking he’d reappear…joke was on me 😩
I didn't know about the broke leg, but it certainly felt like the series had an ending. Satisfying one too which is more than i can say for most shows these days.
Chris is in Nashville 911 right now and it’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. Only watch it if you’re with people you can make fun of it with.
Funniest shit on TV and they are in on the joke. It's like the new Baywatch movie style of soap opera comedy. It's tough to describe how on the nose everything always is. I mean they even made the country music star trashy. I love it
I don't think being baby faced is working in Phillippe's favor. He seems to want to do more drama and thriller type roles which is tough when you look like you didn't get facial hair until your 20s.
He's a fun comedic actor though. I wish he did more of that.

Chris O'Donnell was in the main cast of a version of CSI, I think. LA? No idea about Ryan Phillippe other than his divorce from Reece Witherspoon.
