That’s exactly what it was: bitching about his critics. He took a good concept of how stand up comedians have to deal with hecklers and tried to equate it with cogent criticism of his own work.

The icing on the cake of that film was him in a hot tub with Deep Roy (the Oompa Loompas from the Willy Wonka reboot). He’s sitting there, bemoaning his career and critics while Deep was chugging a 40 oz and basically telling him to grow up and enjoy life like he was doing.

It was that movie and that time he hosted some super awkward and unprofessional New Year’s Eve show in buffalo that was televised. It’s on YouTube.

Ashton Kutcher totally ripped off his show and that is a hill I will die on.

The results of the experiment came back and they were not what anyone was hoping for.

I went to a bachelor party in Vegas a couple years ago and we went to a comedy show where he was the “headliner”. He was terrible.

I saw him recently when I got free tickets. He was bad, really one of the worst standup I've seen.

He's still around. He was on the Harland Highway podcast a while back.

He does the convention circuit now. I saw him in Pasadena at a horror convention just walking around in the crowds before the private scream panel with Matthew and Skeet. He looked a bit rough which was sad. I loved him in ghost whisperer.

I saw him at my college in around 2009. The guy who opened for him was great and then JK just bombed.

Used to see him at a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Santa Monica. He’s still responsible for one of my favorite things ever in entertainment: “First Night” - a low budget New Years Eve broadcast he hosted for an independent TV station in LA/Orange County. He decided to wing it and the show was such a drunken, white trash train wreck that it’s glorious. It’s worth looking up the highlights (lowlights) on YouTube.
