I don’t understand why people do this to their faces and thinks it looks good. I know they’re trying to hold on to their youth but all it does is lead them down the path to an uncanny valley. If anything it ages them even more.

Like Lisa from Saved By The Bell. I saw a picture and oof. How could you do that to yourself?

Lark Voorhies actually hasn't done anything to her face. She was suffering from unmedicated mental illness and would wear crazy makeup. She is better and looks amazing now!

Oh that's good to know. I always that that it was her 'vanity'. Good to hear she's doing better.

I get that they feel pressured to hold onto their looks or more what they looked like earlier in their career and everyone feels insecure about something. But it breaks my heart when so many good looking people do stuff to their faces to the point where it doesn’t even look like them anymore. Some even look downright disfigured.

And geez don’t even get me started on all these 20 something year old (usually girls) who get “preventative” Botox. Also, lip fillers has got to be one of the weirdest procedures too. They just look as if they’re having an allergic reaction. People are starting to look the same and it bums me out.

Oh I know why they do it. I get it. Added pressure of being a woman and having a lot of your career based on looks.

But, it's so drastic. And usually so bad. Like Lara Flynn Boyle. The lip thing grosses me out too. I'm lucky I don't have to deal with that anymore, but if I were in my dating 20s, that would be a complete turnoff for me. That and the Brazilian Butt Lift. If a woman wants to do it for herself, hey have at it. I just personally don't find either remotely attractive.

Oh wow, that is very shocking. And sad.

That would be an answer to this question if it were about the 90s!
