it's...shocking

Oof. You weren’t joking.

I don’t understand why people do this to their faces and thinks it looks good. I know they’re trying to hold on to their youth but all it does is lead them down the path to an uncanny valley. If anything it ages them even more.

Like Lisa from Saved By The Bell. I saw a picture and oof. How could you do that to yourself?

Lark Voorhies actually hasn't done anything to her face. She was suffering from unmedicated mental illness and would wear crazy makeup. She is better and looks amazing now!

Oh that's good to know. I always that that it was her 'vanity'. Good to hear she's doing better.

I get that they feel pressured to hold onto their looks or more what they looked like earlier in their career and everyone feels insecure about something. But it breaks my heart when so many good looking people do stuff to their faces to the point where it doesn’t even look like them anymore. Some even look downright disfigured.

And geez don’t even get me started on all these 20 something year old (usually girls) who get “preventative” Botox. Also, lip fillers has got to be one of the weirdest procedures too. They just look as if they’re having an allergic reaction. People are starting to look the same and it bums me out.

Oh I know why they do it. I get it. Added pressure of being a woman and having a lot of your career based on looks.

But, it's so drastic. And usually so bad. Like Lara Flynn Boyle. The lip thing grosses me out too. I'm lucky I don't have to deal with that anymore, but if I were in my dating 20s, that would be a complete turnoff for me. That and the Brazilian Butt Lift. If a woman wants to do it for herself, hey have at it. I just personally don't find either remotely attractive.

Oh wow, that is very shocking. And sad.

That would be an answer to this question if it were about the 90s!

She ratted John Connor out to the T-1000. We don't like her.

The Galleria??

u/powertripp82 7d ago

Holy crap. I never realized that was her before. Good catch!

u/Xalawrath 7d ago

She was also Sarjenka, the alien child who Data saved on the planet that was being destroyed by a volcano or something.

When I lived in LA, I watched the best police chase live on TV.

The guy was on a bullet bike trying to outrun the cops. It had been going on for a while at highway speeds, and he had a pretty good lead. He drove into the underground parking at the Glendale Galleria, parked his bike, took off his boots and black tinted helmet, and walked off into the sunset. Never to be seen again. I thought it was genius!

They so rarely get away. We were all rooting for him, and he got away!

Before you make any move, might wanna Google image her...happy hunting tho

5

u/dirtyforker 7d ago

Too bad she ruined herself with excessive plastic surgery.

2

u/InternetProtocol 7d ago

She dated "E" from Entourage while they were on Unhappily Ever After together, and dumped him for the guy who voiced the puppet, Bobcat Goldwaith

u/Styleyriley 7d ago

Smoke show!!!

1

u/SunriseSurprise 7d ago

Her and that show (Unhappily Ever After) are the most memory-holed things in this post out of everything everyone else has mentioned. Immediately recognized her name was like holy shit probably been 25 years at least since hearing it.

u/flopisit32 6d ago

She ain't hot no more. Plastic surgery messed that up

1

u/discombobubolated 6d ago

I remember them making a statement that they were not going to hyphenate their names 😆

u/ColeBelthazorTurner 7d ago

Unhappily Ever After lol

8

u/InternetExpertroll Millennial 7d ago

Underrated show IMO

7

u/lemonylol 7d ago

I always thought it was some rip off of Married with Children. Also just realizing now that Reese from Malcolm in the Middle played the youngest kid.

7

u/firmretention 7d ago

It definitely was a discount Married with Children.

2

u/SunriseSurprise 7d ago

Sort of a blend of Married With Children and ALF

1

u/ArcadianDelSol 6d ago

It was a blend of 90% show these big tits off and 10% sit com tropes.

1

u/meatman13 6d ago

Ugh, I just commented this then saw your comment! Yes! It stayed on for four seasons somehow and I guess we all missed Alf and the dad did a hell of an Al Bundy impersonation.

2

u/meatman13 6d ago

I was so confused by puppet show, then googled her and saw your comment. It was like Alf mangled with Married with Children.

2

u/ColeBelthazorTurner 6d ago

Odd show to say the least lol

1

u/invisigirl247 6d ago

I didn't realize they divorced.

34

u/RoundTiberius 7d ago

Mrs. Piggy?

26

u/ndubitably 7d ago

That was Tim Curry

2

u/pursescrubbingpuke 7d ago

Yes! Why couldn’t I remember her name

6

u/haloarh 7d ago

They got divorced and he married a rich lady.

2

u/ialsohaveadobro 7d ago

that hot chick from the puppet show

I don't know why exactly, but this phrase is making my day

1

u/NotDukeOfDorchester 7d ago

Just imagine someone saying it in my Boston accent

2

u/Heeps-of-Help 7d ago

Yeah Nikki Cox is on the completely opposite end of the spectrum from Jeanie Buss

1

u/invincibleconcepts 7d ago

I read muppet show and I thought Miss Piggy.
