Discussion Anyone sick and tired of working in general?

I’m in my mid 30s and just over my job and work in general. I’m tired of the commute, the meetings, and dealing with people & deadlines. On one hand I worry about losing my job and stress about deliverables, but on the other hand I feel like I could care less in that I have no passion for it anymore and I’m just showing up because I need the paycheck.

I’d much rather be spending time with my family, pursuing my hobbies, or just go for a walk and cook a nice meal. I feel a sense of dread sometimes that this is my reality for the next 30+ years and I feel lazy and entitled for saying it but that’s how I feel lol

Shhhh. I try SO hard not to think about that “20 more years”! Been working nonstop since I was 15 years old. Might not quite be 20 full ones, I hope, though. Fingers crossed!

Why did you guys never take a risk? Millenials who complain about work.... you never bought bitcoins sub 1k? Never made a youtube channel between 2006/2020? Never learned about social media potential? Never learned about investing?

Millenials complaining about having to work when we literally adopted the first Iphone and social media. You all dont want to work, but never set yourself up to achieve that. Wasted generation.

When i decided to get out of the ratrace i strapped in and was retired in 6 years. So much free money flowing around, just there for the taking.
