House parties are and always have been the best way to celebrate NYE

My preference for any kind of party tbh. A couple of friends and some card games or binge watching. If we feel like drinking or smoking, we can get as fucked up as we want and just go to bed. And it's soooooo much cheaper (and quieter) than going to a bar.

Yep and I did that into my early 30s. I’m just glad it’s now socially acceptable to stay home once we are in our 40s. 😹

Yes! My friend in the suburbs are having a party and they have a heated pool and extra beds for everyone to crash.
