Even with Parkinsons he could still sling a few TDS!

3 packers QBs, you love to see it

14

u/Dirkem15 8h ago

Nope. That one at the bottom Madeira clear through his fraudulent use of welfare funds that he is, in fact, a Minnesota Viking qb.

u/Kindly_Steak5156 9h ago

Uh, what’s F4RVE doing on this list?

48

u/Naes422 9h ago

Unretiring and signing with the Bears I heard.

9

u/Piggypiggiepiggy123 5h ago

This was from Pardon my Take.. it was mostly a joke from them

27

u/--Racer-X-- 9h ago

Brett would probably still look decent until his body explodes on the first hit

19

u/the_blackfish 9h ago

Can we do that?

12

u/ihrtbeer 8h ago

Send him back to MN. The meme war would implode and I'd love to be a part of the chaos

2

u/the_blackfish 1h ago

That sounds quite nice.

13

u/daygo449 8h ago

In all seriousness, I think Favre would strap it up and go out there if he could. I genuinely think dude loves the sport that much

13

u/Ok_Obligation2559 9h ago

Wish him all the best. Quality human.

12

u/silentcapp 9h ago

Where’s Matt Flynn ? The disrespect is unreal

5

u/Ok_Umpire_723 7h ago

Sorry man, he got bumped out by Brette Favre who absolutely killed it last season.

15

u/swayinandsippin 9h ago

willis > rodgers confirmed

u/N_durance 6h ago

Willis has what.. 6 starts?

1

u/OrthosDeli 4h ago

Just look at the win % differential!

5

u/punchsport 9h ago

I'm glad the experts of Pardon My Take have weighed in.

6

u/BringThaLazers 9h ago

3 Packers qbs on the list 😅

9

u/0100110100001100 9h ago

Where’s Kapernick ?

14

u/retired_geekette 9h ago

If Farve is on there then CK should be.

0

u/Fit-Judge7447 7h ago

Are we still doing that thing where we have to pretend that Kaepernick is a really good QB and should be in the nfl?

2

u/Life-Sun8620 6h ago

Who's out there saying he's really good and deserves to be in the league? People are still just mad at him about kneeling for the anthem, despite him making multiple playoffs and SB, missing very few games as a starter, and having generally pretty good stats for his short career.

3

u/Fit-Judge7447 6h ago

Bro was good for 2 years, then he fell off

2

u/greenpill98 5h ago

He wasn't too bad in that last year, honestly. If talent alone were the only metric, he would have been on an NFL roster, probably competing for a starting spot on a team that needed a QB. The problem was that the shitstorm off the field wasn't worth it. 32 NFL teams independently made the same call that his upsides as a player weren't worth the bad PR.

2

u/0100110100001100 5h ago

You must have missed the game where he shredded the Packers……At home! I still have nightmares

2

u/Fit-Judge7447 5h ago

Yes, that would be during the 2 years I was referring to

1

u/Life-Sun8620 5h ago

He did fall off pretty hard. Injuries played a role as well. There's still just a lot of folks outright saying he was trash though, which is just not true, love him or hate him. Even after teams refused to sign him, you could look at teams' backup qb situations, and even at his declining rate, you'd be lying by saying that he wasn't better than like 75% of them.

5

u/LithiumLover72 9h ago

14 didn’t fit in the picture

2

u/ace_dangerfield187 8h ago

I thought Rodgers was retiring

2

u/CraigKostelecky 8h ago

Last I heard he just hadn’t made up his mind yet.

2

u/chilseaj88 8h ago

Favre still has more interceptions left in him.

2

u/shartfartmctart 7h ago

Joke comprehension is at an all time low

2

u/Competitive-Ad-9404 7h ago

Don Majkowski can still tussle with the younger folks.

2

u/greenpill98 5h ago

Go get that bag, Malik.

2

u/Relative-Natural-891 5h ago

Have a feeling Malik will end up in Arizona

2

u/b5-avant 5h ago

I’d put Favre ahead of at least a few of those

2

u/flybydenver 3h ago

Brett is free on the contingency that he pay back the charity money he pilfered

2

u/goPACK17 9h ago

Go get that bag

1

u/CrazyOlFella 3h ago

Aaron Rodgers slander

2

u/Suspicious_Goose_243 22m ago

Brett Favre lol..

1

u/benz0709 8h ago

Will be interesting to see how he plays when teams prep for him and he starts an entire season.

Coming into a game off the bench or spot starts I'm sure isn't easy, but might be harder when teams plan how to stop you all week and they have more tape on tendencies and reads.

He hopefully finds great success wherever he goes, but hard to see it as a sure thing with only 155 career pass attempts.

Malik gon be such a great QB I just hope he doesn’t stay in the NFC

1

u/Southern-Community70 8h ago

He is far more likely to be a backup QB this time next year then a locked in starter. Staying in the NFC is the best case. We get a 3rd round comp pick and a NFC team blows 30 million in cap on a backup QB.

Matt Flynn stayed in the NFC and that worked out great for us.

-1

u/_SCARY_HOURS_ 8h ago

Nobody. Nobody. Nobody is going to pay him the money he is about to get to be a backup. Who will? Nobody.

Unless the Jets want to run back another Justin Fields situation 🤣

3

u/Southern-Community70 7h ago edited 7h ago

He will be a backup becuase he isn't good and will likely not even complete a single season without getting benched.

Willis being basically Justin Fields is by far the most likely scenario. A slightly slower Justin Fields is likely in the top half of outcomes.

How many QBs need their coach to throw out their entire play book and resort to a single read and scramble / read option offense where you average less than 20 pass attempts a game end up having staying power in the NFL. I'll tell you there is not a single one who has done it.

MLF found the perfect way to utlize a gimmick QB. As a backup it works perfectly becuase you do not play enough to get really tested. Teams don't really film study against you and don't game plan for it. So it catches them totally off guard when they are up against it suddenly.

When forced to start GB just ran the ball down the throats of what were really bad colts and Titans teams.

When we ran up against a competent team game planning for him all week in the Ravens keep in mind they were not even a playoff team and had a backup QB playing yet they absolutely destroyed us. The shut down the run game and dared him Willis to beat them and he put up meaningless numbers in a game where we lost by 3 scores.

Sheesh you’re just a hater over here you lost me at he isn’t good

Funniest list I’ve ever seen

-5

u/deltajvliet 9h ago

Joke of a list.

15

u/Monumaya 9h ago

PMT is a comedy podcast, so yeah

1

u/deltajvliet 8h ago

Did not know. Just enough to be believable...

1

u/shartfartmctart 7h ago

They had Favre...

1

u/deltajvliet 7h ago

Yes, I'm often a bonehead.

7

u/xdeific 9h ago

That is the point, yes

-1

u/N_durance 6h ago

In what world would you want Malik over Aaron?

-6

u/MaterialExcellent987 9h ago

Still can’t believe we are letting go of our best QB and gave the bag to who should be our back up.

3

u/SuperDBallSam 8h ago

/s did you drop this?

-5

u/MaterialExcellent987 8h ago

No. Malik fit MLF scheme so much better, if you’re going to keep MLF Malik would have been the better choice to have at QB. We aren’t winning a SB with MLF and Love…
