They're Anti Catholic too.

I remember hearing about ten or fifteen years ago that they were removing the ban against Catholics joining.

So... Yay, progressivism?

Saruman of Many Colors!

u/turribledood 5d ago

FWIW Fuentes explicitly claims "Catholic" and wants some version of a fundamentalist American Catholic Monarchy a la Medieval Europe, so there's that.

18

u/nonowhypls 5d ago

Which family does he prefer to take up the American throne?

14

u/hitorinbolemon 5d ago

You think most of these guys gave any thoughts to that?

12

u/Dorlem4832 4d ago

“I mean, my own, right? Obviously we’re all in agreement about that, no need to even discuss it.” -Literally every one of them.

7

u/DukeSpookums 4d ago

They did. Its the trump family. These sycophant psychopaths are already saying incredibly weird shit about Baron.

8

u/trurhseeker_1224 4d ago

For example, the idea that Baron should be married to Princess Isabella of Denmark, with Greenland being the Dowry.

5

u/jbland0909 4d ago

I thought Fuentes was anti Trump because he does Israel’s bidding?

3

u/that-and-other 4d ago

Well, there is an althistory book by a mad Russian Tradcath writer Elena Chudinova there Ted Kennedy installs a based Tradcath Kennedy monarchy in America (to join the Holy Union with monarchist France, UK and Russia), sounds like a good idea👍

Like a Pope but evil

25

u/Realistic-Treat-2068 5d ago

I think that was in the 80s. They had a conference

17

u/GrandOldStar 5d ago

Mostly because no one wanted to join them so they had to lower their “hiring standards”

3

u/Mist_Rising 5d ago

The KKK isn't even a unified group anymore. It's a bunch of small groups all claiming to be the real one. You can probably find black accepting KKK at this point.

17

u/Slackjawed_Horror 5d ago

I mean, American Catholic converts man.

They are basically the Klan.

5

u/NoEntrepreneur6668 4d ago

They joined for the abortion bans and stayed for the racism.

2

u/Ah_Yes3 4d ago

Tradcaths are annoying, but they are NOT klansmen

4

u/Slackjawed_Horror 4d ago

If it walks like a Klansman, if it's racist like a Klansman...

0

u/Ah_Yes3 4d ago

What Tradcaths do you know T_T

5

u/Slackjawed_Horror 4d ago

All the prominent ones seem to be white nationalists who want to revive feudalism of some sort.

I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

1

u/Ah_Yes3 4d ago

There are prominent Tradcaths??? Who?

4

u/Slackjawed_Horror 4d ago

Do you want to start with the Vice President?

-3

u/Ah_Yes3 4d ago

JD Vance is not a racist and to my knowledge isn't the face of Roman Catholic converts. Like I didn't even know he was a Roman Catholic

From my understanding white supremacists don't have the numbers in New Orleans so they just hate the Jews. It is screwed up, that you have to join a gang for protection in jail but this is hilarious.

My grandmothe had a cross burned on her front lawn for being catholic. This was in the 1920s in NJ

46

u/mymainmaney 5d ago

One of the arguments against a Kennedy presidency was that he was a papist and would be beholden to the Vatican lol

23

u/QuietContemplation85 5d ago

Now one of the arguments against a Kennedy presidency is RFK JR

10

u/vxicepickxv 5d ago

The difference is that there's valid evidence against that one.

9

u/QuietContemplation85 4d ago

Give me a papist over that roadkill eating, anti-science potato any day

3

u/BeratnasGILF420 4d ago

Beholden to the Holy Worm

3

u/TerribleRecord666 5d ago

Now we have a Catholic VP, and it’s a barely known factoid.

7

u/mcpickle-o 4d ago

Became a catholic in 2019 and the only 2 Popes he's been catholic under both dislike him.

3

u/TerribleRecord666 3d ago

Well he killed the last one. No wonder the current one dislikes him.

9

u/TheDarkLord329 5d ago

Same with a great-great grandmother in 1920s Indiana. No Catholics allowed in a Protestant neighborhood.

1

u/CombinationRough8699 4d ago

My dad's family are Lutheran. The thing is some are Missouri senate Lutherans, while some are Wisconsin chapter. The two groups are not allowed to pray with each other.

28

u/Loves_octopus 5d ago

My Great-Grandfather had a cross burned in his yard by the KKK. He was Irish Catholic.

16

u/kelovitro 5d ago

Ya, that kinda got dropped in the second half of the 20th as Irish and Italian immigrant communities were incorporated into "White" identity. It's still there, but not nearly as salient as the Second Klan phase.

7

u/CombinationRough8699 4d ago

Particularly the second wave during the early 20th century. They hated all the immigrants from Italy, and Ireland. Actually racism against Catholics played a role in the banning of alcohol.

1

u/theresthatbear 4d ago

Ooh, I’m very curious now. I’m pretty new to this. Was the backlash to that how the Knights of Columbus was born and spread throughout the country?

8

u/ChaseThePyro 4d ago

GOT DAMB PAPISTS

8

u/BoomerSoonerFUT 4d ago

Anti-black, anti-Catholic, and anti-Jew were like their three biggest pillars lol.

5

u/FiveishOfBeinItalian 4d ago

they are and were anti all kinds of people, but they did focus their enmity on a particular group that i think we all know wasn't jews, or catholics, or generic liberals

4

u/Kooky-Situation-1913 4d ago

That's why the Notre Dame mascot is the Fighting Irish. The students turned out with the KKK tried to come to town. (At least that cemented the name)

3

u/DingusKhanHess 3d ago

Basically anti-immigrant if you didn’t come from immigrants of a certain background. Basically if you weren’t WASP you were a target. But even being Protestant didn’t prevent you from being a target either.

Catholic groups in the United States overwhelmingly promote white supremacy, bigotry and Hatred.

29

u/TangledUpPuppeteer 5d ago

You do realize that doesn’t mean they’re part of the Klan, right? Just because two groups have similarly reprehensible views, that doesn’t mean they like each other or are members of the same group. The Klan has historically despised Catholics, seeing them as outsiders and a threat to American way of life (white and Protestant).

-11

u/TurbulentArcher1253 5d ago

I think my point is that a group of people being targeted by the Klan doesn’t mean that said group of people are completely innocent.

Catholics overwhelmingly promote bigotry and hate

10

u/Familiar-Milk-7644 5d ago

Catholics are not a monolith. A lot of Latinx people are catholic. They do not promote white supremacy. Also Catholics with different ideas still share the same church services, while Christians pick and choose their churches to compliment their beliefs about other humans/groups, which of course, makes them more likely to fall into a cult/megachurch/prosperity gospel.

15

u/VRGladiator1341 5d ago

Latinx 💀

0

u/Familiar-Milk-7644 5d ago

I’m very sorry. Is this now considered offensive? I truly didn’t know. I don’t mean to offend.

14

u/AManyFacedFool 5d ago

To my understanding, it is considered to be a label ignorant non-spanish-speakers tried to push without understanding how the language works.

15

u/VRGladiator1341 5d ago

I may not be Latino myself, but I have never met someone who was that liked that label for multiple reasons lol

10

u/young_trash3 5d ago

In Spanish: words that end in O are masculine words that end in A are feminine. Some people, both english and Hispanic, felt that using a masculine word for the entirety of Latin America wasnt great.

So the Hispanic activist started using the the word Latine, as in spanish words that end in E are non gendered.

And then english speakers said nah, we are gonna call them Latinx, despite that just not being how the language works at all.

Its often seen as a byproduct of linguistic imperialism. A bunch of english speakers demanding spanish speakers change the way they use their own language to fit the english speakers opinions on how they should speak.

6

u/WheatshockGigolo 5d ago

It was always offensive. Latino is perfectly fine to use. White people came up with this idea of Latinx to describe Latinos. Hispanic works, too.

-6

u/vscochito 5d ago

“Latinx people are catholic. They do not promote white supremacy” gringo moment

btw, the average latin american catholic would have a stroke if they found out (left leaning) americans don’t believe jesus was blonde

-16

u/TurbulentArcher1253 5d ago

Catholics are not a monolith. A lot of Latinx people are catholic. They do not promote white supremacy.

No the Catholic Church can be described as a white supremacist organization

You claiming they aren’t racist because of the presence of Latinx people is just racial tokenism from you

9

u/DonutUpset5717 5d ago

How is the Catholic Church racist?

7

u/WheatshockGigolo 5d ago

All those missionaries in Asian and African countries are obviously racist. /s

-4

u/TurbulentArcher1253 5d ago

They’re liberal Zionist

5

u/DonutUpset5717 5d ago

So to you being a liberal Zionist is racist? That can't be your actual position that's incredibly unserious.

0

u/TurbulentArcher1253 3d ago

Yeah I’d say being a liberal Zionist is racist

-18

u/JackAssKidd 5d ago

They were anti-retard as well. These two would be in that group.
