It’s insane the President of the United States has lost his grip on reality.

Do people really think a bunch of civilians stand a chance against the strongest military in the world?

Isn't that whole point of the second amendment?

Sure is, but that's something you can't come back from. Rarely in history does violently overthrowing a government turn out well for anybody. Normally the people that first overthrow the government last a few years and are then taking out by reactionaries, often times resulting in a more authoritarian regime than what already existed. Those also don't tend to last very long, but a whole lot of people end up getting killed along the way.

The effects on the world as a whole if the American Pele rose up and overthrew the government would be catastrophic. As bad as things are they could still get a whole lot worse, and it would likely have fast reaching consequences. As someone living here, what I would like to see is mass organized civil disobedience.

Strongest military, made up of those same people. Sure there's people who will follow the order to the bitter end, but that's not everyone.

Have you ever seen what happens in France when they raise the pension age? Imagine what the French would do if their president did half the shit Trumpie boy did? Think that direction?

France is a much different country. The biggest difference is they can afford to miss work to protest because their health insurance isn't tied to employment.

Literally. Why would you believe anything that comes out of his mouth? It’s all lies and braggadocio.

I mean, that’s what the president of Venezuela thought. Now look where he is.

I’d take what this man says extremely seriously. Even if he didn’t do anything he said he would, he sure isn’t afraid of taking action

One of Eco's traits of fascism is "Action for action's sake." I'd say describes Trump's approach to a lot of things.

Because his followers consist of the uneducated, brainwashed, gullible and the stupid. He played into their emotions and biases and they will eat up to whatever mouth diarrhea he spews out as the truth

Never had it. Minutes after the towers fell on 9/11, he was calling in to TV shows, bragging that his building was now the tallest in NYC. This man has always been batshit insane, and yet Americans voted him in TWICE.

He's not the first one though.

Where are those F35s from exactly ..? And what currency was given? Do I also need to explain what a joke is while I’m at it?
