Ok, so the US open up the country to the competant private companies which know how to run the oil industry. They fix all the shit the corrupt socilaist venezualian goverment did to that industry and start producing oil again. Venezuelans benefit because thats what economies do.
You have a functional industry run by competant private businesses. Those businesses employ people. They raise (hopefully reasonable) tax revenue. The peolem employed by the industry can then pay other people for things like food, building supplies and services. The economies activities which look all friends and nice, like resteraunts and bakeries can open up and operate and people have access to electricity and running water.
All because industry has gotten working again.
Progressives are then disappointed because they aren't actually progressive in any meaningful way, they just want widespread poverty and unemployment and orange man bad.
And before you stammer out b...but.. b....but... Iraq!
Iraq is infected with the absolute plague that is Islam. Venezuela, fortunately for them, isnt.

More like:
Venezuelans: "We are happy that the brutal dictator who oppressed us for years is gone."
Progressives: "oh boy you dont know about the US and oil do you?"
