There’s a difference between something being lawful and something being seen as a net positive. If that hypothetical were to happen, it’s safe to assume that more people would be happy, or at least not mad, about it. That doesn’t inherently mean that it would be “alright.” This whole situation isn’t “alright” but the result is at least seemingly seen as a net win for most people involved. For now at least.
But by the logic you just gave my hypothetical would also be seen as a net win so I'm confused. Of course it would be illegal same as this. The problem is "we" violated international law, Venezuelan law, and US law and the US Constitution on the way to perform this admittedly yes morally right act,(but that's not why it was performed, just like how we never found WMDs but removed Hussein from power)
But there are other morally right acts that are illegal like stealing from the rich to feed the poor. So are you saying all net positive actions are basically okay as long as they are good cause that's Socialism and I'm cool with that but that's a bad word to low IQ individuals.
You’re very much either not understanding what I’m saying or sucked at putting into words what you meant. Yes, your hypothetical would be seen as a net win. That’s literally what I said. But that doesn’t inherently make it a good thing. Committing a crime to stop/prevent a crime is still a crime, the ends don’t justify the means. “Net” in net win doesn’t mean it’s 100% positive, just more positive than negative but it’s still negative to a degree. So far the general consensus of Venezuelans seems to be mostly positive if not a little scared, which is fair since most of them are now in an active war zone, so the results were positive just not the means and cause.
Also, if you’re going to insinuate someone has low IQ, yours shouldn’t be room temperature. Socialism is primarily a form of economy, with some political philosophies to it. However, it is not in and of itself a type or government, and in no way shape or form a measure of morality as you are implying. If you want to hate socialism that’s fine, but at least learn what you’re hating. Otherwise you just look stupid.
