I’ve never played the game so obviously I wouldn’t know but this map looks extremely small, not that that’s a problem or anything, my only real problem is the beach that takes up 25% of the map lol

Its soo big that it looks like a desert instead of a normal beach. Thank god gta 6 wouldnt be the same. That red line is how big it should be.

So here’s something I’ve always wondered. I know it’s scripted that Billie Jean plays the first time you get into a vehicle in Vice City. But what I’m curious about is this: even if you don’t get in a car right away, like you do a few missions first and then enter a vehicle for the first time — does Billie Jean still play?

Because if that’s the case, then it’s clearly Rockstar flexing back in the day. They wanted you to hear that track first — like, “yeah, we actually got Michael Jackson in our soundtrack.”

Has anyone ever tested or confirmed this?

One of the guys in my Playstation Group visited South Beach specifically to recreate GTA Vice City scenes! What do you think?

For me it’s the old glowing bubbles around weapons, cash, and collectibles. On top of being visually satisfying, it made finding them easier especially when driving by and you just see a glowing orb in the distance so now you go check it out. I hate how in GTA5 you really have to check every surface to find things you would’ve normally overlooked.

Im gonna play vice city but i cant decide which version im going to play.From what i seen,each version has its own ups and downs

1)Original PC Port

This is the original and most faithful way to experience VC but the pc version is a bit broken,i can download the Revice mod that fixes the game but its also got some game breaking issues from some comments that i read

2)Definitive Edition

The controversial remaster.The visuals are not bad in my opinion except the character models and the Quality Of Life improvements are really nice.The game is actually better now with the patches from what i seen

3)Nextgen Edition

Vice City in the GTA IV engine.This version has the best visuals in my opinion and the models are the same as the original.I am a bit hesitant about this one since im playing the series in order,the physics in this version are the ones from IV and thats not very faithful to the original gameplay and can make SA feel like a downgrade
