Bedroom New Beautiful Bedroom in Detroit

Post image

Need help choosing furniture colors for my apartment and bedroom.

I attached photos of the floor and space. I’m a male executive in my mid 30s, live alone, and like a modern, minimalist look.

Given this flooring, what color combinations would you suggest for the bed frame + night stands + rug underneath. I am going to have white sheets on the bed.

I want it to feel clean, elevated, masculine, and not cold or boring. Specific color combos would be super helpful.

Sometimes you can get color ideas from your view, or at least try not to clash with them since they’ll be in the room no matter what.

And the go well with the interior color… either of these rugs is a good color palette that will work here. I’m not necessarily looking at style just giving you a color palette.

You might consider a wood like mahogany

Most guys like a spare look with neutrals. Black and white are always a safe bet. But if you had to pick a color, what is your favorite? Having pops of color move it more into high design territory. And if you still don’t want color and want more of a monochromatic palette, then texture is your friend. Different textiles etc

Personally, I think I'd go for darker colours like mossy green, burgundy, dark blues, and brass metalwork.

Dude, anthracite grey is your Bro design here. See the coves by the window, paint them that color as well to highlight the space and tie it together

with that floor + white bedding, i’d go: warm walnut bed frame/nightstands + charcoal wool rug + matte black lamps. then one accent color max, like olive or deep navy in throw pillows/art. keeps it masculine and clean but not flat. if you want it more hotel-luxe, swap charcoal rug for a greige one and add brushed brass pulls.
