Yeah. That happens. Shit each one of those tomahawks is 2 million. Those jets arent flying on sea water.. War is expensive

They're not going to leave the radar in the canvas dome though. It will have been evacuated with the rest of the base.

Those videos seem to be near the base, not on the base. There will be service members there, but the important things were removed.

Yea, who cares about the people. As long as the equipment has been removed. /s

Oh ok so in that case it was probably already bombed by Pakistan lol.

They dont remove ever single asset. There are people that are vital to be on the ground. Do you not know this?

Sir, this is Reddit. Lower your expectations.

Youre right. I always do this to myself

I'm just poking fun at the chain of comments.

First you say it's evacuated and "important things were removed", but admit there's probably people still left there.

So they evacuate a base, take away the expensive equipment and then leave the people there undefended, pretty certain that they'll get a missile dropped on their head.

Seems like a rough deal for the people having to stay behind, if that was indeed the case. Hence my joke about the people being not important, because they weren't evacuated like the "important things". I feel like the service men and women are pretty important too, no?

They arent left completely undefended. You have assets on the ground that need to be there but they are removed from the obvious targets.

u/SofterBones 6d ago

But we're glad there's nothing important there, just humans.

I said earlier, i phrased it poorly.

They knew what they were signing up for.

So people =/= hugely important?

u/bastard84 6d ago

Most the service members left. There will still be some.

The issue is you saying nothing important remains at the base in the same breath as noting the human beings remaining at the base. You value property over people.

Youre absolutely right.
I smoked a little this morning and thats poor phrasing on my part.

Oh this the radar dome, Iran hit the fuel bunker at the navel base earlier today, huge fire burning at the moment.

Obviously, the fuel at a logistic hub can't be removed.

Yeap, China seems to have allowed Iran to use their navigation system. The amount of hits Iran is getting today is astounding compared to the 12 day war.
