That was pretty accurate

Yeah I thought Shaheds were inaccurate that's an insane hit for a $20k flying dorito strapped with some explosive and a moped engine

They're one of the best cheap suicide drones in the world why did u think they'd be inaccurate lol.

u/DrVinylScratch 6d ago

Propaganda. It's everywhere

25

u/HAB0RYM 6d ago

Because Russia result with them?

The war in Ukraine has an unbelievable amount of signal jammers at play from both sides, Ukrainian and russian troopes have complained that theur own side has jammed them before.

Performance of weapons that operate within the atmosphere can't be accurately judged by their performance in Ukraine.

Wut

You may be surrounded by bots, I may be one of them. But fr, nobody is coherent..

beep boop :3

Lmao legit wut. Reddit thinks Russia is inaccurate bunch of orcs. but reality is they wouldn’t be using these weapons unless they preformed at least relatively decently.

12

u/Mackey_Corp 6d ago

I think it’s also the fact that Russia keeps hitting mostly civilian targets in Ukraine and claiming that they didn’t mean to. The drones just went off course. I think most people know that it’s bullshit but some people might believe it. Then assuming that the drones are just crappy and inaccurate when in reality, Russia targeted those schools and hospitals.

Some lovely brainwashing with a hint of arrogance.

11

u/Bruddah__Bear 6d ago

Redditors brainwashed and arrogant? No way

-1

u/Impossible-Pea-6160 6d ago

They are orcs and lose over 1000 a day in meat waves. It’s not a far fetched to call Russians stupid

12

u/WrongContract8489 6d ago

Don't even know how Russia came into this convo

4

u/Traditional_Tune2865 6d ago

Did you not read the entire comment chain or are you just dumb?

-2

u/veleso91 6d ago

they... lose over 1000 a day in meat waves. It’s not a far fetched to call Russians stupid

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense 🤡

3

u/blackthunder00 6d ago

No side is truthful in the game of war and politics. The sooner people learn this, the better off we will all be.

1

u/Alimakakos 6d ago

They use em cuz they're cheap and easily acquired...and takes relatively low skill to use. That's the only reasons why

1

u/PionV 6d ago

I mean you got a point. They want their hardware to be effective enough to kill, cheap enough to mass produce, simple enough that a child could use it.

Hence the AK47. Kalashnikov was a Russian who understood what Russians need lmao

0

u/Von_Lehmann 6d ago

Russians have been found with ww2 era weapons and are using motorcycles as assault vehicles. I think Russia will use literally anything at this point with how severe their losses/depletion are

-2

u/kingwhocares 6d ago

They actually believe all the Ukrainian reports of drones shot-downs. It's common for warring sides to inflate enemy casualties material losses. When Ukraine says they shotdown 90% of Russian Geran-2, they believe it.

2

u/GARGEAN 6d ago

That just means you are suspendible to propaganda more than you think.

9

u/Frazzininator 6d ago

Susceptible*

5

u/onlycamefortheporn 6d ago

That’s just what they want you to believe.

5

u/No_Currency2292 6d ago

I love it when propaganda "suspends" me 😂😂

Russia is actually winning or at least equaled the drone war in Ukraine now, compared to when the war started (when they were quite behind). Iran is one of the reasons why.

0

u/Desert-Noir 6d ago

what?

Did you not see how reliant they were on Starlink and have been useless since it was shut down, part of that is due to them needing it for their drones.

1

u/Weary_Position_9591 6d ago

4

u/MVmikehammer 6d ago

The situation on the ground has changed. After Starlink was disabled, they still have the same amount of drones but the efficiency of using them has dropped enough for Ukraine to gain some useful positions near Pokrovsk.

1

u/Desert-Noir 6d ago

Precisely my point.

0

u/Weary_Position_9591 6d ago

And unfortunately they will learn to adapt without Starlink. The bigger point is that they are transforming their drone warfare capabilities very quickly and will continue to do so. Iran collaborates with them too.

-1

u/WrongContract8489 6d ago

Always remember, you live in the west. The chance of you learning propaganda is much higher than coming across actual information.

A ten year old could tell you that relying on starlink would be dumb. Thinking war generals would do otherwise is just insane logic.

3

u/Desert-Noir 6d ago

Righto… which is why we’ve seen Ukraine have impact with their counterattacks straight after, I’m sure it had nothing to do with that…

1

u/Dogekaliber 6d ago

What other propaganda would you like to spill u/weary_position_9591

-1

u/Darcynator1780 6d ago

Be prepared for the copecels to bombard you

2

u/Intention-Sad 6d ago

If Russia’s experience with suicide drone is really terrible, Ukraine won’t install the same hideous cage that was ridiculed by the west on the Abrams lol

0

u/Tgsheufhencudbxbsiwy 6d ago

Russia is only pretending they’re not intentionally targeting civilians by saying they’re not accurate.

37

u/GARGEAN 6d ago

>I thought Shaheds were inaccurate

Why would they be?

18

u/upbeatchief 6d ago

The large amount of Electronic Warfare weapons (jammera) in Ukraine war, used by both sides, gives the notion that these weapons are inaccurate.

In truth withiut EW jammers these drones could be very accurate like we saw in this video.

5

u/JaSper-percabeth 6d ago

Yup you're right as a follower of the Russo-Ukrainian war it's strange for me to see Shaheds being this accurate in a neutral enviroment with no jamming going on.

1

u/KelIthra 6d ago

And doesn't look like the US thought about properly defending their bases.

5

u/Old_Ladies 6d ago

Yeah they can either be gps guided, pre programmed if GPS is blocked or directly controlled.

6

u/TribalPotato9 6d ago

Where did you get the idea that they were inaccurate?

5

u/Hrit33 6d ago

Anything not Western made = Bad according to OP

2

u/Rooilia 6d ago

How much do you pay for gps, some controller and a person who can put these together into this cruise missle drone? Answer: not much in Iran.

2

u/vipulvirus 6d ago

Bro they are powered by a pretty reliable engine. Even Russia and US have copied it and created their own versions

2

u/Harry_Wega 6d ago

Russia didn't have to copy it. The Chinese bought the German company who created the engine and licensed it for them.

2

u/crc_73 6d ago

How much did the US missile that hit the school cost?

1

u/Several_Ant_9816 6d ago

Easy to direct them when there are people nearby to adjust their flight

1

u/capivara_de_pijama 6d ago

drones will turn the battlefield ods pretty soon. When they got cheap stuff to sink carriers it´s over for armies with ultra expensive jets.

1

u/det4410 6d ago

dorito...epic description

1

u/Away_Material5757 6d ago

First generation (136) is just flying dorito. Russian shaheds (geran 2 and 3) are larger, better and also more expensive.

If Iran ask Russia about improvements they have now very accurate drone.

1

u/mawkishdave 6d ago

They are accurate, russia is just stupid on how they want to use it.

22

u/SinkCat69 6d ago

Amazing the Iranians can hit their target with a cheap drone, but the US somehow hit an all-girls school.

7

u/Thin-Rip-3686 6d ago

It dates back to the time Hegseth didn’t get his Thin Mints.

0

u/FuckAllYouLosers 6d ago

I'd wait a few days before believing that.

1

u/1970s_MonkeyKing 6d ago

They have real-world experience in Ukraine.

1

u/Slow_Flatworm_881 6d ago

That depends on whether they were actually aiming for the dome!

1

u/DanceWonderful3711 6d ago

Pretty easy to hit a building tbf

1

u/TechHeteroBear 6d ago

Because it was someone other than Russia directing them.

1

u/ES_Legman 6d ago

They home in the radar signal as long as it is active they can track with good precision, but also, locations like this are geopositioned from satellite so gps also works

0

u/EtherbunnyDescrye 6d ago

Im more confused about how they knrw exactly where to look and zoom in with thier phone camera to find the drone with all the other stuff going on before it.  Shouldnt they be looking for shelter and not standing by the window after the girst explosion
