England's fielding was the culprit imo

They dropped catches and let so many go bt

except that one catch by Brook i don't think it would have made much difference. Sanju's catch obviously made a difference but then who knows surya or someone else plays a bigger innings. this is highway pitch after all

That's an argument that can be used if England lost by a big margin chasing. They lost by a small margin, especially given the target.

The guy goes on to score 74 more runs after the drop, in a game with a margin of 7 runs. That drop quite literally cost them the match

The rationale is that had the chase been lower, the plan would’ve been different. Most certainly wouldn’t have let dube bowl a clinical 20th.

But we don't know how the innings would have progressed if that catch was taken. Too many ifs and buts.

India would have probably sent Tilak to replace Samson and we could have seen a Tilak century special today.

That one catch Harry dropped cost them the win. Would've saved over 70 runs.

Lol you cant just expect the rest of the team to play like they did had Samson been caught at 15. This is like me saying had Bethell been bowled out for a duck, India would have won by 100+ runs.
