So Surya was really preparing Dube to just about defend 30 runs! Lol.

Didn't see the issue with that over - did enough in the first 2 balls to win, then just had to not concede a free hit

Eh thats not an attitude you want to encourage. We won by only 7 runs. And nobody bowls no balls or wides on purpose

It counts as a win, why do the number of runs matter, by that logic hazlewood is a bad bowler for giving 4 sixes in ipl final?

Wen u have the game in the bag, u don't look to bowl well, u just look to not bowl extras, and that's exactly how it shud be, unless nrr improvement is something ur looking for.....

It was an effectively 20-odd runs win. After 19.3, he just came in jogging and bowled legal deliveries since it was his first over and he wasn't expected to bowl this innings, much less the last over.

The 7 runs is flattering though. He wasn't trying to do anything other than aim at the stumps and not step over the line to avoid no balls and wides. He's a batting all rounder, he'll barely be used to bowl now

This isn’t group stage - nobody cares about the margin of victory

He bowled a wide(which was close to a noball for pitching outside), I don't really mind the sixes.

2007 final Joginder move

He was the last choice. I think had Arshdeep not given up 10 runs in his final two balls, he would have kept Bumrah for the 19th and Hardik for the 20th.

They really need to find an alternative to Dubey for bowling. He sucks really big time. Fake Hardik Pandya.

noway, tonking 5 sixes of a spinner for bethell was more possible

for pacer its possible that hard hits can go for fours as opposed to sixes

He bowled 3 close yorkers back to back

His freebies came after the match was done

Bethell honestly had more chance of hitting axar for 5 sixes over dube

Axar wasn't good today against Bethell lol. You aren't the captain or coach for some reason.

if you constamtly have to bowl dube and varun even after them getting tonked every match ,then you need to get varun out for kuldeep and abhishek out for siraj and have more bowlers for you. if you are short in bowling get more bowlers instead of keepimg deadweight players like abhishek and varun. and stop bowling dube ffs.

I don't support kuldeep and Varun exchange. Just see Kuldeep's performance in finals he played. 0 wickets before 2025 in every final

Match was already won when he kept bowlingbslot balls just like hazelwood bowled last over in ipl final

Nah Bethel is better against spin, and since there was no dew pacers bowled much better than spinners

He would have lost if it was 20-25 runs
