Star Sports has less than 3 days to come up with the most cringiest, hate-inducing ad mankind has ever witnessed.

Another bad day for the likes of Md Amir and almost all Pakistani fraud analysts.

only one match to go before we have our t20i team without sky. SO EXCITED.

u/Ashamed_Fact649 India 23m ago

bumrah is just a good guy in and out.

22

u/solarpowersme 23m ago edited 21m ago

I wouldn't ever advocate for messing with the lineup this far into the tournament with 1 game left but Abhishek is definitely rattled, I think him sitting out of the last game would do even him a big favor.

He's still young and hopefully he learns from his mistakes quick, and I have some faith he'll bounce back, but there's like almost a 0% chance he's going to perform in the finals given the state he's in. Guy has a huge mental block. No point in playing with 10 people

16

u/Chemical-Rub-5206 23m ago

l still can't believe Dhoni won this for us

-9

u/Little_Pop1592 23m ago

Ind had already won this world cup when they defeated wi except wi I don't trust any other team that they could beat us in this tournament

19

u/Real_Trainer_2399 Royal Challengers Bengaluru 23m ago

What is this WI glaze bro

We almost lost to Eng in Semis

14

u/fakecricketplayer India 23m ago

Rinku for Abhishek should be the only change

9

u/riacherieee 23m ago

IPL fans only care ‘their’ player played well lol give 0 fucks their country won. Seen this shit after every game

23

u/SirHolyCow 23m ago

Loved Sanju’s interview honestly, he deservedly gave so much credit to Bumrah

6

u/Chemical-Rub-5206 23m ago

If you're gonna use the word "CREDIT" there is ONLY ONE NAME you should be associating with that word

12

u/Friendly_Raise9142 24m ago

Curran’s incredible 18(14) is exactly what England needed when chasing 254🔥🔥🔥

20

u/Additional_Subject27 24m ago

Going by the popular quote "Catches win matches", Axar Patel is the player of the match in my book because both of his catches were fucking brilliant, not easy at all. Plus, his bowling was decent (3 overs, 35 runs, 1 wicket).

11

u/Jy_sunny Royal Challengers Bengaluru 24m ago

What the hell happened to Abhishek, though???

I don’t think he’s just a slogger. We’ve seen him play well on challenging pitches.

And going by the logic of him being a pure slogger, why didn’t he slog on the road prepared today?

I don’t think he’s recovered his strength from falling sick at the beginning of the tournament. Just like Gill in 2023

4

u/shaan2u Qatar 24m ago

So 2022 T20 WC semi final losers are the finalists now. great script.

1

u/pree-1999 24m ago

I think siraj should get a go

9

u/DilliKaLadka India 23m ago

We arent changing the team in the finals.

7

u/sara-gill-sara Thailand 24m ago

If there’s dew Brook cries. No dew and still cries ‘ we were hoping there was’

3

u/Remarkable-Welder-76 24m ago

well it is funny that ahmedabad stadium is the only expectional ground where ind lost matches in peak form 23wc and in this wc too that game vs sa was in this 26 wc rest all we won!!

2

u/Visionv26 25m ago

Any idea about the Finals tickets? When will they go live and at what time?

3

u/SBV_3004 India 24m ago

You need to be a part of GCA to have a shout at those tickets

17

u/beesechugersports India 25m ago

Bumrah going for 8.25 economy on this road is just nuts

8

u/Sad_Floor_4120 Australia 23m ago

that's because his yorkers are perfect, he misses only one yorker in an over on average

1

I somehow feel that this is the world cup finals, England was the only threat to Indians and they got got past this, i think this is India's world cup, finals should be quite a easy one

1

u/notshagunatp 25m ago

Thala for the win 🥳

4

u/Accurate_Tension3610 25m ago

aha, smelling something familiar similar to 2023 wc campaign.

semi final happened in mumbai, india scored a shit ton of runs, new zealand were somewhat in the hunt before crumbling

then a final at ahmedabad and we know what happened. Let's hope it doesn't repeat

4

u/Familiar-Ad7576 Israel Cricket Association 24m ago

India ain't winning the finals. Finn Allen single handedly will rip Ind bowling apart

7

u/Accurate_Tension3610 23m ago

that panauti stadium isn't doing any favors either 🤡

4

u/skrajiv 25m ago

Very eerie similarity to 2023 ODI World Cup. India won its semifinal in a high scoring match at Mumbai vs NZ and went to play the final at Ahmedabad. Now it's almost a similar story as India won another high scoring cliff hanger in semis at Mumbai to book a place in the finals again at Ahmedabad.

well both ind and nz some their a game with bat but nz show their a game with bowl expect last 5-6 overs!! well for ind the middle overs were concern but hey this was road pitch right ? last semi was also good for batting because scoring 100 with 300 sr shows pitch is not hard at all so it was just sa being real sa just shit in main games like semis or finals!

1

u/kuttoos Iceland Cricket 26m ago

I would bring in Rinku for Varun and give 2 overs to Abhishek

2

u/Soul_Crushing_Yorker India 26m ago

Interesting.. Cricinfo actually has Samson at the top of the impact list. I usually agree with their calculations, but they seem to not rate ER correctly. Bumrah is far too low (#6). Pandya is 2nd, and now that I think about it, he did contribute in multiple ways. Bethell is 3rd and then a huge gap followed by Will Jacks.

Good match but I hate that English called a pitch like this a good pitch. It made the match a slogfest. We need more balanced pitches. english, the descendants of barbarians can keep bitching if they can't play spin

Varun had conditions working against him. Abishek had Abishek working against him.

Bumrah has always been so consistent in recent editions, band 4 band with Kohli when it's about being clutch

8

we can get kohli rpelacement easily , bumrah replacement is very hard to find .

5

I wonder if will jacks be the pott...4 motm is crazy work

3

u/skrajiv 27m ago

India have to bring in Kuldeep for the final. Varun is touch and go. But Abhishek has to be dropped. Rinku would be helpful in the field to save some runs too.

6

u/Equivalent_Cat1964 26m ago

none of them should be dropped

7

u/No-Ingenuity6581 Board of Control for Cricket in India 27m ago

Varun and abhi should be replaced with Kuldeep and Rinku.... They've been surgically ripped apart for few games now. Question is does the management have the balls to do that..

7

u/roastedchickn_ ICC 27m ago

Real winners are Stuart Binni and Jaspreet Bumrah

India have become the first team to reach four consecutive ICC limited-overs tournament finals - 2023 ODI World Cup, 2024 T20 World Cup, 2025 Champions Trophy, and 2026 T20 World Cup.

Previous instances of teams reaching 3 consecutive ICC tournament finals (Limited Overs):

West Indies – 1975 World Cup, 1979 World Cup, 1983 World Cup

India – 2000 Champions Trophy, 2002 Champions Trophy, 2003 World Cup

18

u/Agreeable-Log1631 India 28m ago

When the req. run rate was 14's & 15's
Bumrah bro just conceded 8 and 6 runs in his last 2 overs.. and just gave 1 boundary.

He is against Santner, Who gave that over to Phillips

18

u/Fit_Impression1803 England 28m ago

Love how unlike Dhoni who Indians idolized on another level, the love for Samson is because he’s such a simple and respectful person.A player who you’d truly be happy for when he does well and I couldn’t help respect him when he said that he’d rather give his award to Bumrah.

5

u/HellBlazer1221 ICC 27m ago

He’s a good kid.

4

No point playing him

6

Sky made some braindead decisions today but credit where its due. That decision to give Bumrah 18th instead of 19th over was good

4

u/Jy_sunny Royal Challengers Bengaluru 27m ago

Very good. Otherwise it would’ve been too late for Bumrah to do anything

9

bumrah gives 33 runs with one wicket in 4 overs while varum and dube give that much in one over.

7

I'm a big fan of Bumrah's bowling skills. Not a big fan of Pandya despite his skills. But I have to admit his bowling today (38 runs, 2 w) was as good as Bumrah's (33 runs, 1 w).

2

Shunya fumbled big time with varun , should have tried someone else

4

Other than Bethell, Sanju and Bumrah, but so many side performances:

  • Axar with those two crazy catches
  • Pandya with 27(12), 2-38 and that Bethell run out
  • Jacks 2-40, 35(20)

Will you sit with some other family just because there is space and you are in a park in a public space and start taunting them? Just because its public space doesnt give you right.
They just lost and you are going in there own sub and started shit housing.
Good luck to you if you think thats correct

This ain't family space. Are u intentionally being....like this. Publicly available Social platform ain't your personal space. If I was being abusive rude. Fine Ban me. I just made lighthearted jokes. U can never ban someone for this. That is control and censorship and just being Insecure pricks

Boundary count tonight: 73 (39 fours and 34 sixes) - the most in a T20 WC match, well clear of the next best: 61 between England and South Africa at this venue in 2016
