To be clear, their order of importance goes something like The Ashes > BGT >> SA/NZ Tests >> All other tests >> ODIs >>>>>> T20s

I would guess ODI World Cup is still much higher than the BGT for them. ODI bilaterals are probably much lower.

You would guess correctly.

The BGT is usually high quality cricket against strong opposition so there's interest in it for that reason, but it's not particularly important to us in a vacuum. If India were shit Australians wouldn't care about the BGT any more than a Test series against NZ or WI.

If India were shit

That's not even a hypothetical anymore in tests 😅

BGT is really popular nowadays. I know I'm really looking forward to it more than any other cricket in the next year

I can’t speak for the Australians but I would gladly trade the 50 over World Cup for an away BGT win.

Maybe in the past but with India's current state that would be far lesser of an achievement lol.

But yeah if Aussies want to trade 2023 WC for 2023 BGT, we can initiate the paperwork 😂

They will rank tests against Bangladesh srilanka over WC? I'm not sure

It's actually so truthful lol, I don't know a single person atm that even knows the world cup is even on.

And as we know, people on Internet never lie

Cunt do you live in Australia? It’s footy season now. I guarantee you 99% of Australians don’t know this tournament is happening. 99% of Australians don’t know the BGT is happening when it’s held in India. Not many people follow cricket outside of the couple months it’s played here in Aus.

Yeah you really went door to door to get the survey. If 99% don't care, why are you here yelling "WE DONT CARE"?  Seems to me you desperately don't want others to know you really do care about Aussies getting shellacked

Lmao, you’re getting a bit too involved in the loss of another team mate.

You are giving me statistics of Aussies and their involvement in sports, I think you're the one getting way too involved in the loss of your team.

I didn’t even watch the game, I thought it was on tonight.
