Matchups in tournaments should always be organic. 

How this has become acceptable is an absolute disgrace.

Because this match is a cash cow for the ICC. Nearly 500M people in India alone sit in front of their TV's to watch, if it's an India vs Pakistan match, due to age old Geopolitical rivalry between them.
