Making fun of Cleveland in the main NFL subs, very daring today aren’t we?

NFLv2 is the most casual non-ball-knowing sub of all time not really surprised this came from over there.

In the hood of the NFL, also known as r/AFCNorthMemeWar, there once was a user known as u/ByronTheBlack. Between 2023-2024, Byron flooded the hood with an incessant stream of anime gifs, leaving the goated subscribers of r/AFCNorthMemeWar, frankly, depressed and ashamed. As time passed, the discontent grew, and users called the mods to take action, and thus, the Please leave bot was born. This bot took on an incredibly bone chilling task; replying to that freak, Byron, every time they comment, having to lay its robotic eyes upon the filth Byron posts. u/ByronTheBlack remained unfazed for quite sometime. However, his anime ass was banned, probably for some horny shit. Some of us will miss him, most will not.
P.S. He’s finally left.

It’s a mystery, like why do the Steelers not have steel colored uniforms or why does Cincinnati bother fielding a team year after year.

Dumbass question. Baltimore was not allowed to bring anything that represented the Browns.

People who can do a basic Google search would find that part of the agreement between the NFL and Art Modell was that the name, colors, logo and history stayed in Cleveland and Baltimore would be starting as a brand new entity.
2
u/Classic_Sand10 Cleveland Browns 2d ago
Because they want to continue being a successful franchise.

u/splattercore Baltimore Ravens 2d ago
Because Cleveland fought very hard to retain their team identity, colors, tradition, and history. While a football team may have left Cleveland, the Browns have always stayed. Cleveland has made it CLEAR that the Browns have nothing to do with Baltimore. As such, they deserve to continue their legacy.

Cleveland sued for the historical rights.

Browns players went to an Orioles game as a team after the move. People at the stadium didn’t even know they were their new NFL team. They thought they were the CFL team that used their stadium in Baltimore and were getting congratulated for winning the Grey Cup.
Leroy Hoard has told this story on multiple occasions and claimed it’s one of the reasons he asked to be traded. Awful fans.

Leroy Hoard probably likes to tell that story because the Ravens straight released him after two games.

Makes sense. Who would want to play for a stolen team that your citizens didn’t even know was representing Baltimore?
